Zenato’s 2018 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico represents the pinnacle of their craft, crafted from carefully selected Corvina, Rondinella, Oseleta, and Croatina grapes grown in Sant’Ambrogio. After a four-month drying period, the grapes are pressed in January, followed by a slow fermentation with extended skin contact. The wine then matures for 36 months in large Slavonian casks before additional bottle aging. This powerful yet refined wine reveals complex aromas of bay leaf and cherry liqueur, showcasing remarkable harmony and exceptional aging potential.
