PLANETA Etna Rosso - The wine is from our newly built winery called Feudo di Mezzo which lies in the centre of the Etna region viticulture. Produced from Nerello Mascalese grapes, it is partially fermented in barriques, it is excellent example of a modern expression of this variety now cultivated in the splendid and unique terroir of Etna. Vanilla, black cherry, wild strawberry, and a hint of floral; full bodied yet smooth. A wine that unexpectedly evolves into a winning red with a marked palate that exhibits engaging mineral notes, rhubarb and black pepper.
Colour; Ruby red Nose; Expressive, intense fruit notes along with more complex aromas of forest floor, myrtle and sweet spice Food Match; A versatile wine to be enjoyed daily with simple dishes like pasta with tomato sauce or more sophisticated plates of meat or fish.
