CANTINA TRAMIN Alto Adige Sauvignon Blanc - The Tramin growersÕ co-operative was founded in 1898 and today is counted among Italy's leading wineries. Consistently cited by international food and wine publications as outstanding producer, the 300 small growers who farm vineyards in the area surrounding the village of Tramin. It has a freshness and intense flavour which can be surprising.
Colour; Greenish-yellow Nose; With it's intensely floral bouquet scents of elderflower and nettle and spicy notes of paprika and green gooseberries Food Match; Enjoyable as an aperitif or starter, it pairs well with asparagus, fish and poultry Vinification; The grapes for this wine were gently pressed off to steel tanks immediately after harvest. The must was allowed to ferment at controlled temperature (18 ¡ C) without malolactic fermentation Ageing; Best enjoyed in the first to 2 - 3 years after bottling
